I personally am gunna roll with G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (4 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Desktop Memory. Lol, tell me if this is good or the corsair is better?

G.Skill Ripjaw tends to have lower CAS, so no dependent on the type he gets.

You should go for two 4gb sticks or a single 8 gb stick instead, preferably the two four gig as they have lower CAS than the single 8 gb.

Don't get me wrong, Corsair is definitely at par with G.Skill. Competitive pricing and amazing RAM speeds overall, G.Skill just has slightly lower CAS latency. Nothing too noticeable with general gaming, though for my audio rendering I definitely noticed an improvement.

It's the delay time in nanoseconds that the memory controller tells the RAM what to get from memory, to the time it sends that array to the pin on the RAM stick which goes to the CPU. Basically its the amount of time that it takes for the RAM to grab the info it's storing and tell the CPU "THIS IS THE SHIT I WAS TALKING ABOUT".

Lol great reference and quite funny! Tahnks, this guy put together a list of parts for me to build a computer for around $550. It was quite good and I can send you it thru email if you want me to. Can you tell me if it's good. If you don't want me to email you it's fine.

I'd say go for a Gigabyte or an MSI board. Look at MSI's UD5 990fx chipset series, decently priced and you won't need to worry about upgrading the mobo in the future. If you save up more money also go for the fx-8350 cpu, it does cost a pretty penny but it blows that phenom out of the water. If not look for a second gen i3 (you will need an intel chipset mobo if you do) or a mid tier i5, both can be found close to the price of that phenom and are better. The video card is fine for now, Corsair is a good brand, I personally am a G.Skill fan but that's because it's great with my audio rendering. If it's only for gaming Corsair is just as good.
