    Building a Custom Rig

As my Knowledge in The Hardware of Computers is Slim to None, I Was Wondering How I Should go About a Custom PC Build.

I Want a System That Can Handle Some of Today's More Modern, High Graphics Games.

    What I Need/Have: [x] Have [] Don't Have
    []Case
    []Processor
    []Fan
    []Motherboard
    []Power Supply
[x]Video Card (nVidia Geforce 9800 GTX) <---- Any Good?
[x]Hard Drive (Segate 2 TB Internal Hard Drive)
    [x]Memory (16GB of Something, I Think it's Hyper Black)

So of The Eight Main Components Needed, I Have Three

Now This is Where I Ask Anyone on Here For Some of Their Thoughts and Suggestions.

    Thanks in Advance!

How much do you have to spend? How much are you willing to spend on each? Do you have your funds right now? If so when do you plan on buying each?

If you can answer those questions I can find you the best bang for your buck but the prices won't last for long.

Doubt you will find any real good deals there, mainly because prices pretty much change every few hours. If you want a good deal you will have to look for a serious price drop which at most lasts a few hours.

that website is only good for guides on putting together the system. prices do change, so whatever they have listed a month ago could have change quite a bit.

My Budget Limits me to Around $2200 (USD). I'm Hoping to be Able to Purchase All That I Need Around March.
So Anything You Think Will Change, Price Wise, In That 3 Month Time Span I Shouldn't Mind. I Just Want to Get a General Idea on What I Need to Buy and What The Cost is Gonna be.

I'll consider having a whole new build if you have that money.
Card is crap, not sure how old or what SATA the drive is.
If your 2TB drive is SATA 3, ignore the drive in the cart.
    Don't know your RAM.
If it's DDR3 running at 1333MHz then that should be fine to keep.
If you don't do video editting or stuff like that don't get the i7 3770k, get the i5 3570k.

    Thanks @Stevenom
Well Glad to Know That The Video Card I Have is Shit lol. (Paid like $70 USD For it So IDC.)

This is Really Gonna Help me Out With my Build, so Now I Know What I Need to Look For. Though I do Have One Question About Water Cooling. I Have Been Told By Numerous People That Water Cooling Isn't Worth Buying. I Don't Remember Why But I Would Love to Know What it is Good For.

It's quiet and it takes up less space around your motherboard area.
    This is an alternative.

You shouldn't listen to them... cause it is worth buying IMO. You should get just released NZXT Kraken X40!

I have a Antec Kuhler H20 620, pretty quiet, only things I hear are case fans though.
Maybe you should consider a Fractal Design R4 case.
Very spacious and quiet, my friend has one.
And I recommended it to him.

I'd wait to shop until then - two months is a long time. Prices drop every day and new hardware comes out all the time. Just make a thread when you are ready.
