I'm not saying that you stole anything man, also not saying that if you did, it's right to pawn those goods off to others, but I am pretty sure that absolutely no law enforcement agency is going to get involved over a couple of dollars, when the goods are known not to be legit in the first place. I mean, I've been scammed out of hundreds of dollars of TANGIBLE items over Paypal before, and the police didn't do shit for me then, I can't see them getting caught up in something they can't actually "find". You have to remember, the folks over at your run of the mill police station, aren't generally as tech minded as most of the people here, and the ones who are in the higher echelon of law enforcement, are probably working on things like the PSN security breach bullshit that went down, etc.
