I tried today to play single player in black ops 2 and get this error,I installed the game and the same problem
can play multi player

maybe you tried to download a save file and directly pasted it or your save file is infected try creating a new profile.

did u remove your save file in the c:/->user->documents->activison(or black opsII)? and did u try the validating thing via steam?
