oo this easy... just delete the key from regedit and right click and make a qword 32 bit value and name it KEY and double click it and type ur new key :P gimme a thanks if this help which it will


o and if u cant delete it then u got lock out.. i can tell u how to fix that... but i dont think u will run into that problem

It really is easy to use a new key. I'll even PM you the guy that I used a few days ago, if you want. The key he gave me was $3, and it hasn't been in use by another player yet, nor is it banned. He has auto buy and you get your key instantly, even if he isn't online.

I had this "Hack"//Not survivalhack! too, Just my internet crashed always(Maybe Ddos?) And i couldnt do anything on my Own PC. Needed to do System restore, and everything worked again + key worked again.

This is Incredibly easy.

What you have to do is edit the value of the key to 0, That's it, now Darky can read your key fine!

If Darky still cant read it, when right click on ARMA 2 OA Directory > Premmisions > Advanced and if there is a "Deny" "Everyone" permission, delete it.

Hey guys. This is a first time post for me on these forums but came across this thread and though I would see if I could try and help out. Due to stupidity the exact same thing had happened to myself, was getting rather peed off with playing DayZ and continually getting f*cked by hackers. My logic of thinking was if you can't beat em join em. (fail on my part) Anyway to get to the point. What I had downloaded had turned out to be a keychanger! I own Arrma 2 OA through steam and from what I had read just starting your game through steam should automatically re-wright your reg key again. I tried this several times with no avail. I also tried deleting local files and re-installing again with no joy. I tried (as others are saying) to delete the key in the registry and it wouldn't allow it! So after trying many different things I went back to my registry and tried to delete the "ArmA 2 OA" folder that holds the Key file and yay it let me, I then started up Arma 2 OA in steam again and it re-wrote the original key back into the registry.

Its what worked for me and I hope it works for you

P.S. Although this may be a fix for now, in time i would imagine we will get CD-Key in use problems then eventually a global ban on the key =/
