    I just bought a VGA to HDMI Cable. Will this work with Xbox 360?

    I need to know if this can connect my xbox 360 to my monitor. My monitor has a VGA and my xbox 360 has HDMI (of course).

    Will it work? will i be able to play on it with sound?

    yes it will work. and it will work with both the VGA or A/V inputs. also, VGA supports sound too so if you use the VGA (recommended) you don't need the a/v sound jacks.

    FYI, your maximum resolution will be 720p

    But what if i have monitor with no speaker on it? it doesnt have a headset jack port either.
