Did you google ""The 'Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0' provider is not registered on the local machine."" (without quotes ofc) ?

Sounds like you need to 1) install something or, 2) add a reference. top menu: Project-->Add Reference (Com vs .Net tabs, look into it)

My posts have some inaccuracies/are wrong/wrong keyword(s) used.
They're (maybe) pretty close, and I hope they helped you, not created confusion. Take with grain of salt.

Do you know what is "Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0" ?

    vs "Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.3.0" vs "Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.99.0" vs "Microsoft.*****.******" ?

Maybe google "Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0 VB.net" (without quotes)
    or
google your error message: someone else must have had the exact same problem.
""The 'Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0' provider is not registered on the local machine.""

    idk, sry.
