Got new CD key used to work now it doesn't?

Well I got banned (eventually) and then accuired a new CD key of a friend that doesn't play Arma II anymore. The key then worked for a couple of weeks until i ran the Arma through steam by an accident so it swapped the banned CD key back so then I used the cd key changer and now i get .Cheneraus has been deleted and when I attempt to patch via dayz commander i get wrong CD KEY


Anyone help me as to why it suddenly started doing this?
