Upgrades waiting to happen
my upcoming upgrades will probably consist of some more hard drives so i can record some gameplay.
will probably also end up getting a processor upgrade to something more modern like the 8350. The graphics department also needs some upgrades so if i have the cash i might very well be running a titan and 3 23 inch screens in the end of the summer.

Well I'm getting the 3970 and ocing it as well. With my job they need somebody with a REALLY powerful processor for some graphics design and post-rendering software. Since I'm the resident techy-type guy at work, they are actually paying me the money for the processor so I can do my job.
So no money lost for me. All the rest of the build is personal money though.

Drop the second Titan and the ridiculously useless RAM. Unless you are doing some serious motherfucking transcoding (like multiple live 4K processes) you aren't going to go near that amount. The most powerful machines at work (3D, Compositing, Render machines for movies like Iron Man and Avengers) only just utilize 32GB and a Quadro 4000. Anything more than that is useless for anything other than live transcoding and analytics.
