Serious question now. I remember my friend doing this to someone. Is it just me or on some servers if you shoot in a spot long enough. Did it create a flame from friction? There was a guy hiding behind a tree and my friend lit it up. Little did we know there was a fire originating from where he was shooting. Lasted a few seconds after he stopped shooting.

I actually have no idea, but I don't think tree's can set alight without some sort of physics being implemented, and by what I know, that hasn't been created. Either it was server-sided or it was a bloody good hack. I've never re-called me setting a tree alight.

Well it wasn't so much the tree. It was wherever "enough" friction was created. If we shot the ground on full auto with infinite ammo, it would create a ball of fire. The fire wouldn't affect anything though. Just a visual. But I found it funny because the guy on the other end of the tree shit bricks.
