Wow really they are ppl that still use windows XP? OMG thats really sad for me, because I'm a web programmer and we have so many problems with ppl that use old stuffs, specially web browsers like Internet Explorer (the worst thing ever...) I suppose for the OS programmers is the same

Anyone who can still hack without a ban with this guide? Even with older/detected hacks? This method is very interesting, if there's no real anti-cheat system, than that is the key. There seem to be no other way they could auto-detect any hacking process. I would be interested in other long time experience reports. ^^

SAGA 1.0 is not detected and dindt crash if you shut off the hack before you shut off the game.Enjoy

With this Firewall blocking method, there should be no difference in exiting the game or closing the hack before exiting. Either way, no report should be send, so SOE won't get any info whatsoever. And without any info, there should be no ban a day later. If I understand this method right. Hacks that work with the latest Planetside 2 update, should all be "undetected", because there will be no reports for SOE, or? ^^

There is zero anti-cheat protection in PlanetSide 2. Logs are uploaded to servers that look for keywords amongst thousands of logs when running known hacks. Blocking the means of uploading those logs means SOE does not know PlanetSide has crashed or that you are cheating at all. Game moderators are the only people who can ban you, and that requires that they see you doing something crazy.

You will need to scroll half way down to get to Windows XP. Here is a basic cheesy as hell video on how to do it:

Instead of blocking Outlook as she does it, you will need to click 'Add Program' and select the program from the UNC paths in the first post.

BTW, there's another "wws_crashreport_uploader.exe" in:
C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Sony Online Entertainment\ApplicationUpdater"

I've had a look through my AppData folders and can't seem to find the SOE folder in either roaming or local. However, I have installed the game via Steam. If you can install without steam, I'm guessing this may be another place where the crashreport application is also being installed.

A search only turned up the two applications I had already blocked.

I will update the first post to keep everyone informed!

Yeah I used the Client Installer, no Steam. Maybe that's why I have this 3rd "wws_crashreport_uploader.exe". I use a program named "Everything", it searches the PC very fast and show you all files with, as an example, "crashreport" in a couple of seconds. Otherwise I would have missed the 3rd file. Someone at unknown cheats said there are 4 EXEs (without any further detail...), but I only found those 3.

It won't. That is why you have to add it to the firewall. Watch the video again. You need search for crashreport program to add in firewall.
