Getting a new computer (Laptop , or desktop)

Hey guys , so the title says it all. I'm debating between getting a laptop , or a desktop. For me , the advantages of a desktop is , it's cheaper , I find it i play better on desktops instead of laptops due to the small screen. The problem is? The problem is , when i go and chill with my friends , we usually play on there computer. If I brought my laptop with me , we could always play together which is always better than taking turns. I could just connect my laptop to a monitor but , it would still cost me and it would be a hassle to take it everywhere with me.

So vote either Laptop , or Desktop. .

PS: The desktops in my local stores , are great for the price . (Nvidia graphics 70% of the time , 8 gb ram and up)
The laptops in my local stores , are a little overpriced BUT , if I had a laptop i would be able to take it everywhere.

p.s. learn some basics about computers. IE: do some research before you plan to buy.. Don't buy some stupid shit just cause it's a NVIDIA blah blah.

In my opinion Desktops are better, I have a custom builds desktop with over 2 grand in it.

Ovbiously define a computer to be good by the ram , procsesser , video card. The specs on the laptops in my area are nice except the graphic card .. its usually intel bullshit . but for desktops , it's nvidia.

Depends though, Alienware, though expensive, are the the quintessence of one of the best gaming laptops on the market. Also, it has been proved In many cases, that some Laptops have gone "head to head" with some computers and the laptops came out victorious. Just do your research and if your into gaming laptops then look at the specs on my profile of my gaming Alienware. Surely whatever you decide to purchase you wont be disappointed with.
