Not really a tutorial, but I thought I would share some useful remote console commands that have assisted me in IW5M.
fx_enable 0 (Turns off effects such as gunfire, fog, debris, explosions) Great for lag, but also improves visibility)
r_lightmap 3 ( Makes the map lighter, removes shadows, similar to fullbright)
r_colormap 3 (Makes the map look like a clay render, (Kind of fun, experiment with different values for different effects)
r_specularmap 2 (Makes the players white or shiny if you will, almost like a thermal vision. (very useful for people laying in grass, but doesn't work well on snipers)
If you have anymore, please share, only useful ones for IW5M please. (Is there a command to put the turret red box on players?!) Like a built in wallhack, similar to the on in the roll the dice servers.
