Don't be so overly critical.
You're just under stress and it seems it's turning into anxiety.
Take a few steps back, get your bearings together then hit the books hard again.
Doubt is your biggest enemy when it comes to school.
You just have to keep telling yourself you can do it, otherwise you'll be stuck in a funk.
I had some issues in my Calculus II courses during my first year of college.
I've never really had much interest in math, but it never gave me a hard time until I got out of H.S.
Might have had something to do with the fact that I was abusing drugs and Alcohol but whatevs.
I never wanted to just say fuck it and give up until I took those courses,
but when you have goals in life you don't make it there by quitting.
You just have to envision yourself making it there in the future.
Either way, I doubt you'll end up working at McDonalds.
Even if you don't do the Engineering thing, there are always alternatives.
