[Botmaker]

This is only a basic functioning server only includes (shooting, objects ie. walls, movement,pet,lootbags, spawn and give commands) Its a very primitive server!

Remember this is mainly for programmers to mess around with and maybe someone else will add more functionality to the server, there’s no trading, no enemies, no vault, no realm ect.

Disclaimer I will not help you with any problems you may encounter, this software is for programmers to play around with.

for a limited time help me test the server satiability by coming to play on my server edit account.xml search for 127.0.0.1 and replace with 184.82.53.209 and save see you there

Chat , teleporting , nexus map loading objects ie walls, << fixed.

items swaping now working, you can move items around in the inventory!

The server now loads a file containing a list of item ids and names 522:sheep, 514:RedSpider ect there’s around 90 know ids in the spawnlist.txt.

The spawn command expects a parameter ie name of object to spawn
spawn sheep
spawn redspider
case is ignored and spaces are ignored for the name parameter
The item is spawn at the location of the player, every connected clients has access to the spawn command

New feature implanted give command, spawns the item into your inventory, if there is space available
give StaffofHorror

There’s a file containing a list of items id and names “givelist.txt”

(This is experimental and will have bugs, note loot bags don‘t currently get deleted when there empty)

I’ve implanted the loot bags, dropping items from the inventory, now creates a loot bag across all connected clients, you can place items in the loot bag or take them out, it also updates all the connected clients, When items are swapped around.

New feature is pets
The server now has a command called pet
Each payer can only have one pet at a time
This will create a new pet and delete the pervious one

Pets follow you around, they move to the exact location of the player.
The server is correctly updating all connected clients with the pets location
Also deleting of the pet object also is update across all connected clients.

Includes a compile server.jar and source code

You have to send the webserver and client.swf files to your friends
Before sending edit the account.xml, search for “localhost “ and replace the ip 127.0.0.1
With the server host ip address,you might have to allow communication on port 2050 in your router and in the firewall
also forgot to mention the policy server use port 843 this will need adding to the firewall and router has well

The account server is required for sure, I intend on implementing all the necessary functionality in the current webserver.exe, there are some technical issue to be resolved for example

the client.swf can only access the account server on the local host, what this means is once the account server is linked to the nexus server, in order to connect to the nexus server the client would first have to login into the account server to retrieve a database handler that’s needed by the nexus server, its complicated and hard to explain, but it would mean only clients from the local host can connect to the server, because the client can only access the account server on the local host

The account server and nexus server can be hosted from a vps or different machines and the client.swf can be mod to connect to any ip address.
