Ill tell you this when i was playing wcg couple months ago and in E8 when you quickscope you use the point of your gun at the end and aim it at the person thats kinda how i do it.

I would be easier to aim at the opponents with your sniper rifle without zooming in and QS them.

it helps the moment you don't have to aim first and only then shoot. If you have a target on sight you get oriented by the fake crosshair on the middle of your screen to point at it, and then you can aim and shoot faster because you don't need to loose time at all when aiming. This process will increase your experience at QSing depending on how good you get at using that center dot, after that you can take it off and try to QS just by having a pretty good idea of where you need to aim in the first place just by having a familiar reference on your head to where exactly is the crosshair.
