Hello Guyes Big broblem here

iam facing ahuge broblem with CF yester day it worked just fine but today it gives me an error and i re-installed it more than 3 time and the same broblem

Uninstall it and look if there are still some files left in your crossfire dir, if yes, delete them.
Run a registry cleaner.
If you got 64 bit, run the installer as admin and make sure you have permission to access the install dir
if you havent got, do this:

Rightclick the folder -> chose properties -> chose security tab


Click on advanced -> click the owner tab -> click on the edit button

Click on your username -> check the box: Owner of underlying containers and object.

click a few times ok until your are back in the explorer.


Now rightclick the folder again -> Chose security again -> click on edit

click on add.-> type your username in the white area, and click on check name.

click ok once. You are now in the security box again.

now select your user name and in the permission box select full control.

Click ok

(I didnt wrote or own this)

Then install it (if needed with admin privilegies).
If this problem still occurs, re-install windows. ..

@CFHackPro It hasnt got to be only on the files. Believe me, I had got many troubles with CF and sometimes only this had helped.

ok i well try reinstall it and take the files u upload and i hope its work (i put cross fire on D not C cuz i have more than 20GB in D but C only 6 GB and i need them )

should i reinstall it on C ??

damn its give me an error at the end of the update and when i star game it gives me
