Which face are you trying to use? And are you using a different profile on Arma? (A profile that is located in the "ArmA 2 Other Profiles" folder)

Almost every server kicks you if you have custom face

If you did not get it. . it is really hard to find a server with custom faces. In some hack menus there's messed up skins, just use that.
