no servers found

I player mw3 on the pc a while ago and everything was fine, there where a lot of servers online in the internet tab (the first one when you open the server list). I wanted to play it again but couldn't find any servers online on internet. I checked the filter and that good. then i went to favorite, and there where like 3 servers that I could join and they worked (even though they where all empty). is there anyone that has the same problem or that know how to fix it?

If this is for steam then verify integrity of game cache.
Restart your modem

If nothing still works try port forward that should fix your problem.

it is not on steam, and why would it be my connection if I can still join my favorite servers? thank you for your quick answer, I will try to port forward...

Oh it's not on steam? Whenever I have a problem like this it's usually connection problem or ports are not forwarded.

Also try enable UpnP on your router

ok, I'll try that. but when I add a server IP I can connect too... so that means that if I could just have the ip's from the servers I played on I could just play. but I will look at my router first. thank you for your help

Check your internet connection, It's most likely your modem/router.
