I found this ore called platinum,is there any use for it?it dosent seem to turn into any of the blinding weapons

From what I have found on the official wiki, there is no current use for this item. You can however upgrade this to a Blinding Light level item, though is completely pointless.

I think they had originally intended to use the Platinum metal as a resource/quest requirement for obtaining the Blinding Light of Destiny (though I only guess this because Platinum Axe of Destiny is an existing item), but for some reason they scrapped that idea without really saying why. It would've made sense, to be honest.

In addition to the Platinum metal being completely useless for the BLoD/Blinding items quest chain, two metals on the SEPA/Necrotic items quest chain are also useless: Thorium and Mercury. (Just an FYI for any members intending to bot for that quest chain.)
