I'm simply curious, how did you detect which lua hack was being used?

I don't think that information could be used to prevent detections since its not really important which hack was loaded, but feel free not to answer.

I can't tell you exactly how my system works but I can tell you by simply loading a lua script you are risking your account. My system looks for certain code that a script (that would give you an unfair advantage) would use.

@LordOfGears2 My Brother uses this account too, Secondly I have gained a fk load of posts because of theses recent topics about bans, Thirdly i do just use a lua file for Lower settings a fk load of them, Plus i work at an hosting company that hosts Garry mod server's and alot of te customers ask for help about people hacking and coding etc

But I'll go ahead and ask anyway and assume that you're him

I fully understand and respect your decision to ban people for breaking the game rules and using 3rd Party-Applications, that's what I'd do if I had made a game.
But what is making me the most, I don't quite know the right word for it, I'll just call it irritated.

Is that you are actually denying people access to their OWN servers that they may or may not have been cheating on, don't you think that it's a really bad move to actually deny them that, seeing as how it's their server and it has no affiliation with you in any way other than the platform, in this case - your game.
Personally I think it's a bad move in so many ways and will end up losing you a whole lot of fans, followers and paying customers.

You should instead of that, give people the ability to chose for themselves if they want to be included into GAC/VAC or whatever you wish to name your way of catching the hackers.


I'm not speaking out of terms, as an administrator for a server in another game, I know how useful cheats can be in catching other cheaters.
Then you know how they work, what they can do as well as actually see them do it when they're doing it.

Wouldn't you agree? As I see it, you're just making people angry and making people more agitated towards the game.
Which might in the long run end up making the game lose its popularity.

I personally don't want people ruining the game for others. My system is a lot like VAC. Just VAC does not ban people abusing lua scripts. You knew using hacks would end up banning you so you should not complain. Everyone knows the risk.

Your bans aren't generic though, people are banned specifically for using AHack, Hera, BlueBot, etc. There must be separate methods used to detect which script is being used.
