Clean scope mod mk3 + F2000 to L85 MOD

so mk2 (based on personal opinion and the opinion of another individual) had dots that were a little too big, so i've scaled them down to hopefully a respectable size now.

hopefully this will be my last acog/itech mod as the 3 different sizes SHOULD satisfy everyone's taste

You should embed the images using [img] and Thanks for the better scope. Kinda hard to judge it since it's so simple

simple, yet effective. i think the acog needed it the most, due to the mesh, and that godawful blurry dot

Please upload them to an image hosting site (imgur, imageshack, etc.) and post the BB code. Alternatively, you can copy the direct link (the one with a file extension at the end of the link) and post it inbetween [IMG][/IMG] tags.

Please do so immediately as the SS you provided are now broken.

Thanks for the scope mods they are great. Is it possible to take out the black bar on the l85 scope and just leave the crosshair? If it is possible is there any way to replace the all the scopes with that scope or at least some of them?

He'd have to edit the file, but yes, it is possible.
Also, if you want to change all scopes, create duplicates of this file an rename it the other scope names.

Got you thanks I have the 115 scope mod and its just the ui hud or something like that its an all in one but I would love if he made the scopes with the l85 mod scope but with out the black bar that would be the best scope mod out

well i understand you want a L85A1 mod with a scope that doesn't have that bar coming out from bottom to the middle? if so, i'm done. its not perfect, at the very bottom edge of the scope you can see a shadow of the bar that used to be, but it shouldn't mess with your gameplay as you'll be focused at the center of your scope.

there are 2 problems here though... 1. i no longer own a L85A1 MOD, my 5th anniversary hotshot L85 expired yesterday. so i cannot test or screenshot. i can, however, give it to you via PM and there you can try it out, take some screenshots for me, then i can release it officially on the website with the screenshots n everything.

EDIT: and a question to GMs - would you allow me to release .DTX files instead of .rez? i will include a simple, easy to follow instructions how to use the DTX in each post to help out those who need help with the format. my sole purpose for doing this is to allow flexibility on mods. b/c if someone has a mod that they like, and then see my mod, and want to use it too, all they'd have to do is inject my DTX into their already existing modded rez, just building on top of their mod repository. rather than choosing between a modded gun or a modded scope, they can have BOTH of em. its just an idea, perhaps its been brought up before

EDIT 2: as for replacing all scopes for the scope i just modded, you can do it, but be advised only the visual looks of the scopes will be modded, not the zoom level. if you put a L96 scope skin on a acog, the zoom level will still be that of an acog.

You could just mod over your version of the L85 scope onto an ACOG and just take SS's of the ACOG. That way we can still see how the scope looks and you don't need a Zadan's/L85A1 MOD/CAMO.

this mod will replace the acog scopes? Visual Ihave the l85 but it has to much recoil I would like it if it replaced the all the gp scopes even the itech?
