If you were to purchase it for steam the extent of steams abilites would be showing that you or a friend would be playing the game and the game time.
Steam does not support direct join to friends or any other things.

ISS or WarZ was Added and removed from steam in its WarZ state.
It was added again after they changed the name to Infestation: Survivor Stories.
Im sure it will be removed again soon.
Then you will have no fetures in steam for the game.
