Money.
No need to stress over working, have friends over to party every day I want, get every electronic I would ever want, pay for my family to live good.
Would you rather be rich and unhappy or poor and happy?

People believe money can give them happiness, if it does then it would defeat the purpose of the question. Money can solve your problems in a way, yes, being rich would make it harder to be unhappy due to basic needs being met without effort. But its all relative.
If you have everything then you have nothing. You'll always want more, that is the human soul of greed, being rich isn't enough.
Guys its :
would you rather be rich and unhappy.
or
would you rather be happy.
If you become happy by being rich that completely defeats the question, you have to be rich and not become happy. Same with poor, you have to be poor AND happy, not just poor and miserable.

In all fairness being poor and happy is so much better than being rich and unhappy. Status and wealth don't matter when your life is your own. Now if you used your wealth to better others........eh, sacrifice I could see.
^I Agree.
Maybe happy and poor, but i see both pros and cons for both options.
Happiness seems like a good choice, if i was rich i would be but i would still choose money over happiness
"Money doesn't buy happiness" is just an overused term that in my opinion isn't true.
Money would mean I wouldn't need to worry about things like work, bills, etc and leave more time for more important things like spending extra time with family and friends.
