Master yi changes

Well since all of u guys know already, AP YI has transformed into AD YI.
Not a bad thing because it makes his heal alot less effective and he can actually be killed right now.

So i have been thinking. AD YI and tryndamere are both kinda the same.
U win lane against them u let them alone for too long, get freefarm and whoop your ...
Last night i was watching xpeke play some lissandra and then it came to me. she has like a 2, 2.5 sec stun/root with w and r.
Dosnt it shut him down long enough for your melee carries to kill him since hiw meditate (w) isnt as OP anymore?
As u will probably have zonyas by the time he gets strong, u woudnt need to ult yourself.
Cus as we all know, AD or AP yi, his resets will get him an easy penta :P

So im curious what u all think about this and i would love to hear other possible lane couters.

I've been finding him a lot more annoying than old AP yi.
With AP yi, you just use your Q, and then hope you get a reset soon before you get blown up (Although his meditate did make this hard) as he had no damage past his Q and lich bane proc.

With new Yi, if you don't get reset straight away, it doesn't matter, because you're still going to do huge amounts of damage with your AA, meaning you can get resets yourself and proceed to slam Q multiple times.
New Yi just seems to have the strongest points of the old AD and AP Yi, whilst giving up extremely little in exchange.

Not OP IMO as cc still wrecks him, just I find the changes annoying.

He's way more annoying now! And way easier IMO. Not that he was hard before but now he can actually auto attack and put off damage while AP Yi couldn't.

They kinda combined the mindset of ap yi and ad yi together, he's ad based, but those kill resets on alpha are still there only ad now. And with a decent amount of lifesteal, I find meditate kinda useless.

I never plasyed ap yi, only ad yi... and yi is unstoppable when ahead. Only thing, its easy to not let him get ahead. Countered by thornmail, gg.

Medidate is pretty weak now, but the alpha strike just murders everyone since it can crit now.

Yea, but if u check the teams items, if u see thornmail, u save e for the adc/apc, or to blow the guy with thornmail. true dmg plus with ur bork, ull get enough lifesteal to ignore his thornmail 0.-

Only thing thornmail protects against is his auto's he blows everyone up with his Q.

His Q is like a basic attack with a small bonus, but a lower crit... I just use it as a gap closer.

Plus u get a bit of dmg on all of them, but u will do more dmg single target with aa's using ur ult then using ults for your q...
