Questions about a Global Ban from Dayz

Hello, first off, this is my first post so yay.
Anyway, to the question, I was global banned from dayz, reason being is I downloaded one of those dayz hacks from youtube, which turned out to be, surprise surprise, a key stealer. After realizing how dumb and nooby i am to do that, i decided that i'll just repurchase Arma CO on another steam account. Which brings me to ask, will this key stealer still be on my system? I have cleared my regestry and made sure everything arma related is off of my computer. But is there anything more to do? I dont want to buy it and have it stolen again.

These keystealers are usually not that sophisticated. They are often just the one .exe file you downloaded from youtube. If you delete that you should be good. Would also run a virus scan with malwarebytes and clear your browser cache and temp files with a tool like ccleaner just to be safe. You might also want to check in your %appdata% folders to make sure there is nothing unusual in there.

Sorry I took so long to reply, work schedule's been awful, anyways, thanks both for the suggestions, I cleared everything, deleted the file, it was just an exe, and a very non sophisticated one at that, I was able to get in my registry, and delete everything arma 2 releated out of there without an ounce of trouble. I deleted every other file to do with arma 2 and repurchased it again on my other account. Needless to say, never gonna be nooby again, too much trouble for it.
