Upgrading from a Dual 760 Build.

As the title states, I'm planning on upgrading my main rig's GFX situation.
I'm currently running a dual 760 build, and it's running fantastic, but I'm wanting a tad bit more power.

    I'm debating between getting 7970's or 680's.
The 7970's would be a bit more cost effective, but I'd missing out on Nvidia's PhysX.

Radeon HD is better at Power Consumption and Memory Bandwidth
2 GB GTX 680 is better at Texel and Pixel rate
GTX 680 is 700$ on Amazon
Radeon HD Is 399$ on Amazon
The Physx for Nvidia might not be used for every game, it's only used for a few, but it's actually good for the games it's used for
So for my opinion, get the Radeon 7970
Note : those are the prices for only 1 video card
I hope I was able to help

Not a lot of games really use Physx. The ones that do only have minimal effect. Making a game based around a feature that only players using a nvidia exclusive feature is detrimental to sales so they rarely make Phsyx anything more than eyecandy for the people that do have it.

Go for a 7970 Ghz. Ive got one and it floors every game I throw at it and beats out the 680's in terms of performance. SLI/XF may have a different effect but with 3GB VRAM on the 7970, you wont find anything out there that would need that much save for stretching a game across 5+ monitors.

To be honest the PhysX, I use it myself on my HD 6970 (Borderlands 2).

Wouldn't worry 'bout it, if you want to save as much money as possible, definitely get the 7970's.
