[TUT] How to make your own tag

credits: joscerr and me i just reposted this because it can help and this post is really old.
Okay to me this game is just like css and on css you can make your own tags well to day I'm going to show you how you can make your own tags for crossfire. I'm the 1st one to do this and don't for get to thank me it took me all day to do this. Also be for we start this is a bitch to do because it takes about 10-20 mins to do.

You will need to things 1st is go buy a tag if you don't then this will not work at all.

2nd you will need gimp download that here GIMP - The GNU Image Manipulation Program



Okay now do this.

Go to my computer ,PRESARIO (C), Program files and Subagames. Now go to rez then UI and Spray.

Now open gimp and look for the pic you would like to tag now make it about 100 by 100 now this is the part that takes 10-20mins to do.

Okay go back to Spray and copy the name of the 1st one spray_i01.tga now go back to gimp and go to save as rename it to spray_i01.tga go to save in folder and make that Desktop then go down to select file type (by extension) look for TarGA image -tga click that and then save it go back to save as and this time make the spray_i01.tga make the 1 to a 2 then save it the same way you did the 1st one but you have to save it as TarGA or it will not work. There are 41 thats why it takes so long but go back and look back in spray because at 10 it will skip to like 12 and at 28 it will go to 31 so don't make like 11 and all that or it will not work.

Sorry that the tut is not all that good but I'm sick as hell right now any ways heress proof

double click the C drive icon, then go to
Program files
then Subagames.
Now go to rez folder
then UI

Now make it 100 by 100

go back to the Spray folder and copy the name of the 1st spray_i01.tga
go back to gimp and go to save as.
rename it to spray_i01.tga
go to save in folder and make that Desktop
then go down to select file type (by extension) look for TarGA image -tga click that and then save it.

go back to save as and this time make the spray_i02.tga
then save it the same way you did the 1st one.
you have to save it as TarGA or it will not work. at 10 it will skip to like 12 and at 28 it will go to 31 so don't just go 1,2,3,4 etc..
