Try to update your Dircetx.
If it will not work then try to download the new version of punkbuster.

Punkbuster new version :Even Balance Technical Support - Download
And if all of that didn't work try this:
.......\Origin Games\Battlefield 4 Beta\__Installer\directX\redist

Open the redist folder.

Sort the list of files by type (rmb -> sort by -> file, then select and delete all .cab (winrar/extractable) files. Put into trash bin)

Open BF4 and join as spectator
The game will crash again

Open (.....My Documents\Battlefield 4\settings)

Open file PROFSAVE_profile

Find this line and change variable to "1" -> GstRender.OverallGraphicsQuality 1

Save the file, close NP++.

Join again as spectator

Lower graphical settings to all LOW, except MESH at HIGH and FOV at always, 90 degrees

Exit and rejoin as player

I'm stuck on the loading screen, every time I try to join a server BF4 pops up and it only stays at loading at at some point it crashes.

Its long because its a beta,If you search for the release date you wont see the date for the Battlefield game.
Its the beta they don't have anything up running at the top.
