Yes and no, for now im going to stop botting and see wtf they will do, but knowing the people who actually make the bots, they will figure out a way to get around this.

I don't know. But something semi-spooked me:

Artix, Nythera, Zazul, and I met earlier today to put together a plan of attack. It will require a lot of new functionality, but once it's ready, it will be a great day to be a good player! Here are some of the things we are looking at:
Restrict botters to certain maps and disable combat while "banned" (though they will still be able to log in)
Implement warning points and cooldown system to allow players to earn back goodwill
Remove levels, gold, non-AC items, rep, rank from serial botters
All of those are ideas right now. I'll sit down with Yorumi tomorrow to see what we CAN do and how FAST it can get implemented. But we ARE going to take action against botters. We love our players - and our game - too much to let the problem grow!

They didn't say anything about an anti-botting system, they just said if you get caught your fucked. Then they also continued to bitch about how botting is bad for the server and how players shouldn't bot. So if this is ever implemented it still won't affect anyone who is actually using the bots. It'll only affect the people caught.

I supported this game now 4 years with my money, and i bought acs at some point, I fed artix's family for a week. Ban me, one less meal you kids get artix xD think about it! I am glad some people realize that you're only fucked if you get caught. But before if you were caught, you just got straight up banned no if /ands or buts about it, This is like a slap on the wrist, this seems like there trying to keep us playing and paying them money and not just kicking us out of the game for botting.
Ae should have said "We are going to be implementing a new system to deal with botters, and still collect money from them. Simply we will have douchy punishments but not ban them completley
Similar to them just basically forcing you to watch your own nuts get cut off and then you have to pay to get them re-attached, but oh the wont kill you only make you suffer knowing your nutless and still alive xD

With that said, botting is nothing but clicking with the use of client sided commands - other than badge hacks and boosts. When they talked about our programs that we designed specifically to butt-fuck the legitimate players, they went ahead and accused our programs of phishing, Trojans, and viruses. What kind of level in fuckery are they in? AE is just a bunch of ignorant bastards that can't code for shit.
