i run dual boot, xp sp2, and vista ultimate 64 bit, but i have 6gb ram...so no matter what i have, its gonna be fast, BUT vista home is fail so...

dude its simple.. the over all capabilities of XP greatly exceeds Vista.. not only did they remove EVERY SINGLE HELPFUL THING from vista, but they took out the "Run..." they took out the command prompt.. they took out everything good about XP hoping nobody would notice.. fuck that

oh.. and NO DOS IN VISTA EITHER.. for those of you that didnt already know, DOS = command prompt / cmd.exe

Epic fail.. no your wrong cmd.exe uses dos but command.com is MS-DOS utility
cmd.exe just give you some more noobish shit that you dont even know/care about so no and vista does have "run" and it has dos cuz thats what ms is all about thats there backbone program
