NO, STAY AWAY FROM THE KRK'S. I can not stress this enough. Too many people give KRK great reviews with no backround in Audio. It's easier to just run with flatter monitors of the same price point than it is to train your ears on those travesties. Go with the ADAM Audio F5 or F7's, with the SubF. Balanced XLR to audio interface or 1/4 inch jack input, a little EQ so the sub holds the 120 to 30hz range, tune your F5's to pick up the slack on the 121 range with a drop off limiter EQ (or by voltage tuning) and you are golden. With the KRK's you're just going to get too much bass, shrill highs, and a lack of decent mid-range.
