I honestly couldn't give two shits about what a company says about their game.

It's all just for hype.

If you honestly believe what game developers say in pre-release, that's like believing everything the candidates in a presidential race say.

It's just so they can get people to vote for them, or in this case, play their game.

I'm not going to ever rate a game in it's graphics. Purely gameplay.

I don't normally either, but when a game actually looks worse than the last one, you know something's wrong. Great graphics are usually only a bonus to me, but I still can't rationalize the 50GB of space it takes up, even though I see absolutely no improvements in game design.
