Discussion about past banning patterns & IW stance.

Hey guys,

I've been hesitant to use any of the cheatengine table memory edits floating around and I just wanted to ask, in the past history of CoD's, have there been any notable ban waves for the use of editing tokens, challenges, camo's and items of that nature? I have used an unlocker in Modern Warfare 2 and have never received a ban for it but I haven't played any recent CoD's after that.

Also as a side note, and I doubt there will be much information on this, does anyone know the methodology of the new IW anti-cheat system? It might be too early but I seem to remember people knowing how the prior anti-cheat systems operated (In menu, versus in-game, or both).

I played every CoD since MW2 and I fucked around with CE and some prestige hacks, I never got banned. So If you don't exagerate and make it obvious you hacked your rank or unlocked some things I guess you're safe. Or maybe I just got lucky...

I think if you use wall hacks, aimbot and shit like that you have way more chance to get caught one day or another, people gonna report you, some investigations will be done and the ban will come....

As far as I remember the bans for mw3 used to come in waves, every 2-3 weeks.
Blops2 was every few days. I haven`t hacked on this game yet as I don`t know what anticheat is implemented but IW reckon it is there.

We`ll know if they`re blowing smoke in the next couple of weeks I think

In MW2 and MW3 (both IW CoDs) you could hack all you want

indeed, Always hacked my rank, perks etc. never got banned.
Iw does ban on console guy's who boost etc etc. They don't care much about the pc players
