    Can't launch Nodus!

Hi. I've played Minecraft for like 3 years and I've never had any trouble installing any hacked client/mod.

I have used Nodus many times through many versions and all instances of the launcher.

However, now I am having trouble. I downloaded the new Nodus for 1.7.2 and followed all the steps in the readme, adding the .json and .jar files into all the correct places, then I created a new profile and allowed it to use "snapshot Nodus".

However, when I then press the "PLAY" button, the launcher closes as it usually does before the actual game window pops up.

However, instead of launching the game, the launcher just reopens. It doesn't crash or stop responding or anything, just refreshes. This is what I assume to be the error message:

    Code:

    1. That's not the real Nodus. That's a remake.
    2. This is not a stable version. A lot of people have problems with this client.
    3. Just be patient and wait for a good client to be release. e.g. Obsidian
    4. Did you follow this instructions?
    Installation:
    1) download the files
    2) go to start and type %appdata%
    3) go inside .minecraft\versions
    4) create a folder call nodus
    5) extract nodus.jar into the nodus folder
    6) Instead of using the nodus.json file. copy paste the 1.7.2.json into the nodus folder
    7) rename 1.7.2.json to nodus.json
    8) edit nodus.son with notepad and find "id": "1.7.2", and change to "id": "Nodus",
    9) start up minecraft and edit profile
    10) use nodus and press play

In the old 1.7.2.json which I renamed to Nodus.json, I can't find any part that says "id": "1.7.2", it's all just encrypted text.

The 1.7 remake of nodus is made in obfuscated code so its going to be buggy as fuck.

Are you SURE that youre using the right nodus shit. Downloaded the remake, no encrypted stuff. Even the in my game versions json, no encrypted shit. Redownload, try again.
Else, use JSON from a 1.7.2 version copy over and amend to your suitability.

    Open it in notepad++.
JSON file is pretty much a plain text file with suffix of JSON > making it a JSON file. It can be opened by notepad. v.v
