I too would like to know how to resize gifs. Do you use software or use some website that converts it to you?

    gimp or photoshop?

If using gimp, just resize the whole image so it's not bigger than 150x150 and the job is done x)

But how, like, do you split it into frames first or is there a special function or something? If I were to do the job I would do it frame by frame (dont know any other way)

Using gimp, opening an animated gif will open all the frames as layers.
Going into image>resize will resize all the layers.
then export>.gif>as animation and voila,it just took 1 minute

I definitely gonna get GIMP when I need to do a gif now.
But, doesnt PS allow to do something similar too? It's very strange for me a popular tool like that doesn't have such feature.

I really don't know,i've only tried PS once when i was 7...but since i knew nothing about editing i just thought "lol it's crap" and uninstalled it. Never touched PS since then...
But it definetly should have such a feature...It'd be incredibly weird if not x)

IIRC ps has an option where you can import video files and they are displayed by frames in layers just like gimp. You can then re-size and export it again. I haven't done this myself since I don't work with gifs but it sounds like gimp supports it much better than ps so just use that. Besides, its free.

Resizing GIF's on Photoshop is actually relatively easy as well.

You just go File > Import > Video frames to layers
    Select the file.
And after that go File > Save for web
Then you just type in the new dimensions you want the GIF to be.
