I dont think he will OC, so just leave the cooler and upgrade the processor to a quad core.
A 1TB HDD is recommended which you didn't mention.

Better boards have better heat sinks.

Maybe the modern games include super mario, minesweeper? /

In that resolution, you get like 30-40 at low settings.

    Effective Memory Clock
    Please compare me these:
HIS IceQ H787Q2G2M Radeon HD 7870 GHz Edition 2GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support
    and
    Newegg.com - SAPPHIRE 100354OC-2L Radeon HD 7870 GHz Edition 2GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 CrossFireX Support ?

    Difference between 128-bit and 256-bit ?
Effective Memory Clock: 1200 mhz in the first one by HIS, and 4800 mhz in the second by Sapphire.

Do u think the second one is a good one in that price ?

And yes, it's 7850, so 7870 should be even faster.

    I got a Seagate 1TB already and a Radeon 5450 EAH Silent(30$ ) and a 500W Corsair SMPS in a old Core2Duo 2GB DDR2 and old mobo.

    I might upgrade soon.

So can I go for vishera(6-core)(better frequence on ocing) or a 8300(8x core) ?
    The same mobo + the 7870 2GB + 8GB RAM = 340$
BF3 at max right ? 40-50 fps was there for aborted, 7870 might pump up like 5-10 fps ? How about BF4 ?

I am bad at mobo selection, @rchayne suggested me 990fx sabertooth once and told its the best, but why cheaper is cheaper than it ?
Can u pick the parts ?

    500 W ?
600 W would be way better(just to make sure that it will work fine), but I think that 500 W will do fine..
There shouldn't be a big difference between BF3 and 4 as they are very similar..

Sniff, I didn't notice you that added a question...
Sabertooth is board made mainly for overclockers(it has bunch of thingies useful when you overclock like LED diagnostics, better digital power design, etc.), it has more PCI-E slots, more SATA connectors, it has better integrated sound card, etc..

I'd go with ASRock 990FX Extreme3 or Extreme4 because I think they are pretty good if you don't OC alot(and cheap as well)...
