To be fair, not much in Rift makes sense.
A mecha type mount in a fantasy RPG game like RIFT?

this is like call of duty black ops 2 with western and futureistic theme...it just doesn't go..
To be fair, not much in Rift makes sense.
Looks like someone has been watching a bit too much Gundam...
It sort of makes sense with how Defiants are Techno-Mancers.
You were seeking strength, justice, splendour.
You were seeking love.
Here is the pit, here is your pit.
Its name is Silence..

Black ops 2 executed the western futuristic theme perfectly, It almost got me back into cod, I even bought ghosts but we all know how that went.
Can't pass through the red plastic window.

Above all else, Defiants are rugged individualists who love technology. Mixing technology with magic offers amazing opportunities for innovation, personal power, and cultural progress. If used correctly, these advancements could also be turned into spectacular weapons to fight the looming darkness. The Defiant absolutely believe that the best defense is a great offense - something the Guardians will never understand. With the help of enough eldritch war machines and magical innovations, Defiants believe the people of Telara will have the power to destroy the dragon gods themselves, without needing to rely on outdated religious dogma. When Telara is saved, the Defiant will be at the head of a new technomagic age, in which every facet of life is touched by their innovations.
And how could you miss all the other mechanical things in the game already
Rift is such a stupid game to play, it's also confusing as shit
