Minecraft Tekkit Launcher problem

Hi MPGH people,

So I've had this problem for the last 3 days already, I can't figure out what's wrong with the Tekkit launcher. I've tried all the cracked launchers, using alts and stuff, still didn't work. I thought it was a connection problem, but Tekkit works fine on my Mac. I can play Minecraft on my PC, fyi. I really want to play it on my PC though. I'm running Windows 7 64-bit Home Premium, just in case anyone needs that info to help me. Also, I've uploaded the log that came with the failure of the launch. Thanks, guys!

Some things I could point out for you:

[WARNING] Unable to load installedPacks from C:\Users\user\AppData\Roaming\.technic\installedPa cks because it does not exist.
[WARNING] Unable to load users from C:\Users\user\AppData\Roaming\.technic\users.json because it does not exist.

Looks like some parts of your .technic folder is missing. Or possibly, most of the directory?

Caused by: java********Exception: Server returned HTTP response code: 403 for URL: https://www.technicpack.net/api/news/

Error Code 403 means that the resource you're trying to reach is forbidden for some reason (for example: You don't have the permission to access it) But this shouldn't affect the game itself, only the news feed on the launcher.

[STDERR] Caused by: java.lang.RuntimeException: java****.FileNotFoundException: C:\Users\user\AppData\Roaming\.technic\modpacks\te kkitmain\config\CodeChickenCore.cfg

Now this is just like what it seems, the error is caused by "CodeChickenCore.cfg" not being found for some reason. Probably the key reason to why your game is not working.

TL;DR/What you should do: Try reinstalling the pack. Or clean everything off the .technic folder and set up the launcher, install your modpacks, everything as usual. (NOTE: Backup your saves, screenshots, anything you want to keep.)

Okay, so I've tried reinstalling the launcher, using a different alt this time. I managed to get past the Minecraft validation thingy, but then the game crashed on me. Again. Any help would be much appreciated.

java****.FileNotFoundException: C:\Users\user\AppData\Roaming\.technic\modpacks\te kkitmain\config\ChickenChunks.cfg (The requested operation cannot be performed on a file with a user-mapped section open)

Seems like this problem is from Windows 'locking' the file, this is not the modpack's fault, but maybe I'm wrong, maybe not. Try running the launcher as admin, or restarting, it just might work.
