It will be practical if you understand scripting, helped me a lot. Doubt Rain will spoon feed you though so you'll have to figure it out on your own.

I generated the list over at OpenDayZ, please have a link to the list as I will change it as the game get's updated.

I feel like they left vehicles in the SA. If you go to the Addons folder in the DayZ folder, you can see a lot of vehicles_*.pbo files.
How would one go about searching those to see if there are infact vehicles in the SA? That would be epic.

Vehicles are indeed in, just not sure about the classnames. They might be the same as the arma 2 ones. My friend saw someone driving a humvee last night. Here is a screenshot some dude posted on the official forums:

I worded that horribly wrong. Go into the DayZ PBO's (/<dayzroot>/Addons/) extract the pbo and open up the config.cpp with Notepad++. Google Regular Expression and you will find information on how to properly use it.

Yeah I assumed you wouldn't want to be associated, I can add your name to credits if you want. But I don't believe its allowed to post external links. I was going through all the configs putting together the above list, then I decided to google a few of the class names to see if anyone else had found them. Sure enough I found yours.
