How To Set Up A Non-Hamachi Game Private Server

Hi, so I tried to make a server.. I followed the instructions but when I put my IP in the address bar it just loaded and then stopped and it said the connection has timed out. I'm pretty sure I did everything like in the instructions. I did download xampp from another site because this one didn't work for me. Maybe somehow you can help me ?

EDIT: I found one line in the emulator and it said: " [Root] Error! Incorrect database version! Admin login disabled! " what does it mean?

Well the newer versions of xampp are not compatible with these files.

Doh, I deleted xampp, all the folders and downloaded everything again. Xampp is the correct version, files that you have put here don't work for me but I downloaded from another site and now when I started the emulator it said that there is unknown database "thedarkwolf_db" .. Do you know how to fix this?
I think I will just give up, lol. ;D

So what did you name your DB? And are you sure you named it thedarkwolf_db

You should just be able to use img tags here.. Just use those..And upload it on imgur as the tiny pic link doesnt work for me.

Lol so what you do is create a DB in MySQL name it thedarkwolf_db and then import that in. That is just an SQL file... lol.

I have i question, i have the server set up, but i want to edit the client, the problem is that when I publish the client in flash cs6 it does not save any of the action script files with the movieclips, but rather saves all of the movieclips WITHOUT them, rendering the client broken. Do you know how to fix this problem, i have seen a few other people post about this lately too. any help is apperciated

Ok first off, when you export or publish something it is all contained within the SWF. If you are talking about linkages being removed, it could be due to your decompiler. So check on that. What could be happening is you have a bug in your coding you have missed rendering the client broken.
