How to bypass HWID ban?

Man, I've been trying everything

-delete sony online enter. from user/appdata/locallow
-delete launchpad folder in Ps2 main folder
-clean everything with CCleaner
-change volume ID
-change Mac
-run VPN after doing all the above.


Generally when I do something, I like it do be solid. I wouldn't have thought in a billion years that this would not work.

So, after erasing all the traces(or so I think), I proceeded with the VPN. Even with the VPN I could access the website so this leads me to think that the IP of the VPN was not banned.
It's a pretty new vpn promotion thingy from unotelly.com which seems to be a streaming site, bypass country lock, whatever. Just searched on like "last month google results" and it showed up.

I very much doubt it that anyone used it.

What am I missing. I'm in such a mood to play PS2 ever since I destroyed their server a couple of days ago.

Maybe you guys have a solution?

okay hey there,

So I found out how to bypass the "Planetside 2 HWID Ban"
Follow the next steps and you will be able to play shortly!
1.: go to your search bar and type %appdata%
2.: you will see a bar on the top which will say C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming, click on the AppData.
3.: open the Locallow folder
4.: open the Sony Online Entertainment folder
5.: open the Digests folder
6.: open the id file
7.: change some of the letters and numbers in the id file *make sure it is as long as before and change numbers with numbers only, the same is for letters*
8.: right click on the id file
9.: click on properties
10.:click on security
11.:click on advanced
12.:choose your Username and click on change permissions
13.:choose your Username again and click edit
14.:tick "Deny" on the following: Create Files/Write Data + Create Folders/Append Data
15.:click ok
16.:click apply

what do you have to do when this ID gets banned too?
steps 1-5, 8-13
after that tick "accept" for the Create Files/Write Data + Create Folders/Append Data permissions
now use steps 15 and 16
after that use step 6 and 7
and now steps 8-16.
