funny thing is that i dont care about the ban wave because i have steam family sharing, which basically allows you to share games between accounts.

What do you mean basically...? That's exactly what's it does. Don't feel special about steam family sharing, almost everyone on steam is opting into it. Valve will catch on sooner or later and fix it or add some limitation to stop us doing it. I wish you the best of luck

Okay. Then I strongly advise them to contact garry and explain to him that his GAC has falsely detected them. If they fail to do so then they might be permd next ban wave. If you are positive they are indeed clean, then make sure you inform them about the GAC feature. To contact Garry, spam the fuck out of him until he responds. He is focused on rust so he might be busy. Spam should avoid this issue.
