Done it awhile ago..
lemme create the words tut here for noobe that don't want to stream youtube

1. go to the directory where your battlefield .exe placed
2. create new text document
3. copy pasta this text

...

4. Save it as "user.cfg"
5. done, try to be suppressed now

This will remove that flares and flashes when people shoot and flares from the sun or sky

Tried this with no apparent effect.

I'm running Win 7-64, game installed on second drive (E:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Battlefield 4\user.cfg).
Is this the correct place for it? Suggestions?
