This is just to great. AE has stooped to blaming us for their lag now..... Lol. I can not beleive it. They are now blaming those who break their "rules" for the problems with their servers. There is no way botting can cause server sided lag as it does everything a normal player would do... This is just great.

I guess the one thing they could say is that botting results in lots of people "online" that normally wouldn't be on if bots weren't there? But then again, doesn't that just mean their server sucks and can't even handle a few thousand people (with 2 servers only being full once in a blue moon)?

The only way this could cause some lag isvia the more users on than normal. Other than that... it is their servers and they are using the botting community a a scapegoat.

u are kiddie mod , you think the servers run on air yah? well not they spend a lot on their servers to keep live at the host company plus paying the dev's,creators to create the NEW items.

Well I am not saying they spend alot or they do not spend alot. I now what I am saying though in that botting does not cause that much lag. I also find it funny that they said that the name changes would cause alot of stress on the server. That is also BS. It is just an external DB editor linked with the player ID. The name is only used once in the DB and no more. Its the player ID that is used and would not change in the DB. They are just looking for more money out of the players and that is all.

I agree with AE.
If you make ALL botters stop playing for a day, AE servers would only reach 20% of normal number of players. With less players, less lag.

As long as botting exists in games and there is problems in said games, the developers will no doubt use botting as an excuse for some if not all the problems with their game. Only thing I am worried about from this new botting defense line up would have to be the anti-quest loading.

Well, the game had something like 60-65 million accounts, if Artix banned 4 milions, he lost some good number of "players".
Now we have the prof of why AE will only try to make our lifes harder, and not banning us.
Even the botters being bad for the game, our participation in the community is so big that they can't ban us.
