My new thing.

So, shit's been getting bad with family, my ex and friends, so i've been looking for ways to express myself whilst still keeping to myself and avoiding showing anyone else who i am. so as part of a new project i'm doing one-word text effects to print out and stick on my wall. I make one per month and hopefully i'll have my wall filled before no time. Here's what i did for January's (Before my ex was a cunt):




Edit: I'm not great at art at all really, so i'm not expecting any wow's or anything. just casual feedback, tips and any advice.

The text could use some more visual effects, and you could then get rid of the cloud overlay on the text, as it kind of ruins it.

Other than that, I like it a lot. And especially with what you're going for. Something that will make you feel a little better each time you look at them, or maybe calm you down to a certain extent. It's simple, and relaxing, and I think that's all something like this needs to be.

Very cool. Reminds me of he backgrounds in a youtube video featuring songs like in the youtube channel Majestic Casual.

Just a quick tip. You should remove the inner shadow fx or modify the angle, its seems like youre trying to angle it so its oriented with a reference point to the center and the shadow is around the origin. Makes it look more like you just modified the text effects menu and doesnt convince a 3d shape. Other than that its not bad for a start!

The shadow point starts from the middle, i haven't gotten this one printed off yet. so i'm going to continue making changes until i'm happy, i've also started on this month's one as well.

Yea anchor point at the middle is confusing.

B R A look perfect, then you get to the E (last one) and the 3d effect dies. I hope that pin points it better for you

Only got into image editing end of last year, so i don't really know much.
