Client banned from Arma 2 Dayz server, what methods are used?

I've been client banned from a particular server before. Normally if I hop onto a VPN to get a new IP I can return fine. However recently changing my IP has no effect, are there other checks on my client? And if so any way to change those signatures?

Note my CD key does change every time of course.

You need to make a new character.
Also do you mean you change your Arma II OA Key every times you login to that server?

Ah OK I was just renaming my character. I presume it's easy enough to clone the character file and preferences so I don't need to setup all my key bindings again! And yes I meant I change my CD key every time I'm globally banned (which is usually way before I ever get client banned by the server).

ya that A/C prob bans Player ID. All things u could do to unban urself is:
1. Change Key.
2. VPN
3. Change ur Player ID

And player ID is changed by creating a new character in the main menu?

I've experienced that once. New character, use Hideman, logged on the server with my another key, turned off router 30 minutes.
Switched back on and I could join without problems.
