Okay, so i am looking to sell my PC off and rebuild one! here is a list of parts ect ect. just let me know how much you think my PC could be sold for (USD) and what a better build for the money i would get from the old PC! Thanks.

i7 4770k and 770 or 780? how much better is the i7 4770k vs my AMD 8350? i dont know aton about intel tbh the 760 vs 770 or 780 is a nice step up for sure tho!

It's not a massive performance increase, only about 10-15% based on pure cumulative benchmarks, but those don't paint the whole picture. Intels perform a lot better in Single-thread scenarios, which would make quite a big boost on the overall speed of your rig. In addition, they're better for encoding, use a lot less power, and produce less heat.

i see what you mean, over all its a step up rather then just a huge step up on performance, saves money and gives me a better setup, i plan on going to micro center soon to buy some stuff, ill make sure to look into the i7 and 770 or 780, what motherboard would you suggest? most likely $100-$200 for that. i think other then that i can cover the rest no problem at all!

I'd suggest a Saberooth Z87, fantastic board.

Remember you can always sell your old parts to make up cash.

I still have a warranty on Video card, CPU and MB, so i plan on returning them and putting abit more cash into the pot to get what i really want! ill have to look the sabertooth z87 up for sure, i have a Sabertooth 990FX R2.0 in fact this is one of the motherboards you suggested to me in the first place and tbh i love the style and the way it works! so i plan on sticking to Sabertooth boards now. lol

also what are you thoughts on getting lesser cards but SLI them rather then getting a 780 or 770? would it give me higher FPS on games?
