Exactly.
In most cases, through the power of the internet, they don't have to feel the repercussions of their actions. If they physically dissociate themself from the wrongdoing, they'll feel less guilty, and ultimately less inclined to stop. In my eyes it's even less morally just than simple theft, because they're being deceptive and untruthful throughout the entire process. Then they'll throw out this bullshit 'the companies are already rich', or 'it's not hurting anyone' excuse to justify why they find it acceptable to blatantly thieve from others.
