and the fact that I've dropped it numerous times (about 3-4 feet; around 10+ times) and it still works like a charm, though the light doesn't work anymore.

I have it. To be honest I've been using it for 2 months. It is not good to play with friends, but it is good for recording after. If you have ANY background noise it detects it, and pisses me off. Get a mic filter or make one out of a panty hose.

Wow these things have gotten cheap, I bought a yeti about 2 years ago and that was for $280. I would definitely get that the Blue microphones have great quality.
